UI & UX
An eye-catching showpiece that successfully introduced the public to our women's Olympic hockey teams. I designed the user experience and interface (UX & UI) using a humanistic approach to the layout (i.e. it’s aesthetically pleasing and very easy for the user to navigate). Infographics proficiently break-up the player images.
The main feature of the website are the player portraits, which I chose to build to 612px x 612px; the perfect size for Hockey Canada’s partners to share on social (one of the women's player graphic was even posted to an Instagram story by "champagnepapi" a.k.a. Drake).
The website is responsive, looking great on desktop and mobile.

Although many of these designs are hockey themed, the varying client needs necessitating the usage of different styles, iconography, colours and typefaces.
Each logo successfully accomplished its goal, which was one or more of the following: increase ticket sales, generate event awareness, sell additional merchandise, boost website views, or increase team comradery.
A showpiece for Hockey Canada’s fantastic 2014-15 season; highlighting achievements and creatively conveying important numerical information, well-organized statistics and precisely selected photographs.
Part of a multifaceted marketing campaign, this brand was consistently applied to digital and print signage across two NHL arenas; the Bell Centre in Montreal and the Air Canada Centre in Toronto.
One of several magazines I created for Hockey Canada, this magazine was sold during the 2012 World Juniors. I crafted several unique master pages, including; the scrapbook appearance of the past World Juniors mini-features and the aggressive rivals mini-features.
UI & UX
They’re a cutting-edge software solutions company based in Calgary, with a philosophy of human centric design. I used that philosophy as the foundation of the website design. In addition to the UI and UX, I sourced additional images, created icons, and worked with JCACE to get testimonials; all of which enhanced their modern and professional website.
A great visualization of the rosters, these were shared through Hockey Canada’s social channels to promote the 2016 World Cup of Hockey. This graphic increased traffic to the website, helping to make the event a success.
