    Logos

Although many of these designs are hockey themed, the varying client needs necessitating the usage of different styles, iconography, colours and typefaces.

Specifically, these logos were respectively designed for the following departments at Hockey Canada: Events, Business Development, Marketing, Men’s High Performance and 2 different Local Host Groups.

Each logo successfully accomplished its goal, which was one or more of the following: increase ticket sales, generate event awareness, sell additional merchandise, boost website views, or increase team comradery.

    Infographics

A great visualization of the rosters, these were shared through Hockey Canada’s social channels to promote the 2016 World Cup of Hockey. These graphics helped drive traffic to our website, promoting the event.

    Web & social ads

An eye-catching showpiece that successfully introduced the public to our women's, para, and in the case shown below, our men’s Olympic hockey teams. I designed the user interface (UI) using a humanistic approach to the layout (i.e. it’s aesthetically pleasing and very easy for the user to navigate).  Infographics and parallax scrolling proficiently break-up the information.

The main feature of the website are the player portraits, which I chose to build to 612px x 612px. These were the perfect size for Hockey Canada’s partners to share on social (one of the women's player graphic was even posted to an Instagram story by Drake).

The website looks great on desktop and mobile, both versions are shown below.

    Annual report

A showpiece for Hockey Canada’s fantastic season; highlighting achievements and creatively conveying important numerical information, well-organized statistics and exciting photographs precisely selected by me.

    JCACE website

They’re a cutting-edge software solutions company based in Calgary, with a philosophy of human centric design. I used that philosophy as the foundation of the website design. In addition to the UI and UX, I sourced additional images, created icons, and worked with JCACE to get testimonials; all of which enhanced their modern and professional website.

    World Junior Magazine

One of several magazines I created for Hockey Canada, this magazine was sold during the 2012 World Juniors. The logo and brand identity (designed by me and used on hundreds of projects) were accurately applied to the game program’s cover and select pages. I crafted several unique master pages, including; the scrapbook appearance of the past World Juniors mini-features and the aggressive rivals mini-features.

    Magazine features

Below are creative feature spreads from various magazines. They’re all unique, yet eye-catching, with dynamic typography and highly stylized images. Each is a bilingual Swiss style spread; English text on the left, French on the right.
